Gurdwara Sri Nanaksar Sahib Verka is situated in the Verka village, District Amritsar.

The Gurdwara marks the place where Sri Guru Nanak Sahib Ji stopped to rest while travelling to Batala to get married.

Guru Nanak sat on the bank of a small pond where the villagers arrived to seek blessings.

One lady, whose child was suffering from Marasmus, asked Guru Nanak to help.

Guru Nanak asked for the child to be bathed in the sarovar. After bathing in the sarovar the child was cured.

Afterwards, Guru Nanak continued his journey.
