Gurdwara Sri Guru Ka Bagh Ghukeywali relates to a sakhi of Sri Guru Arjan Sahib Ji.

It is said that Hari Sen, the Raja of Suket, was told by a Pandit that in his next birth he would be born in a chandal family. In order to get over this curse, the Raja, on the advice of a Sikh of Suket, approached Sri Guru Arjan Sahib Ji at Amritsar.

The Guru observed, "Likhya lekh na mite he sakhi jo likhya Kartar", ie. "what is willed by God cannot be undone".

The Raja was disappointed and was going to return home, but, on the Guru's persuasion, stayed on. The Raja fell asleep and, in his dreams, experienced a complete course of life from birth to death as a chandal.

On awakening, the Raja thought it was just reflection of his mind. On returning to Guru Ka Bagh Ghukeywali with Guru Arjan, the Raja was told that one of the chandals nearby, having the Raja's appearance, had died a day before.

The Guru, however, asked to see the chandal that died. When they found the buried corpse. The Guru told the Raja that his was the Raja's next life as a chandal that had been completed in his dream.
