Gurdwara Sri Zahara Zahoor Sahib is a beautiful Sikh Gurdwara located near Pur Hiran village on the outskirts of Hoshiarpur city.

This site was visited by Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji who was travelling from Gurdwara Sri Garna Sahib Bodal to Kiratpur Sahib.

Zahara Zahoor are Arabic words made from a combination of two words 'Zahar' means 'Pratakh, Pargat Roop Karkai', Zahoor means 'Pargat Hona'.

So the whole term 'Zahara Zahoor' means - 'Pargat Hona Pratakh Hai' and 'Koi Ashanka Nahin Hai'.

Guru Hargobind met a muslim peer here who served Guru Sahib with great respect and devotion.

Guru Hargobind blessed the peer and said he would be known as Zahara Peer and people would respect him.

There is an old well from the time of Guru Hargobind's visit which is now covered.
